Bayern Munich consider selling six of their star players

Bayern Munich might sell one of their top stars in the summer transfer window, attracting interest from Premier League clubs.

The German club has already made significant signings, including Michael Olise from Crystal Palace for £50.8m (€60m).

Additionally, Hiroki Ito has joined from Stuttgart after Bayern triggered the Japanese centre-back’s €30m (£25.3m) release clause.

Bayern’s spending spree is not over, as João Palhinha is expected to move from Fulham to Bavaria this summer. Reports indicate a deal worth £47.4m (€56m) has been agreed, though it has yet to be confirmed.

This would bring Bayern Munich’s summer spending to a staggering £130.8m (€146m) on just three players, with more reinforcements expected to bolster Vincent Kompany’s squad.

However, Bayern will need to sell players before they can sign any more new ones for the rest of the transfer window.

According to German outlet Kicker, Bayern is prepared to part with some of their key players to balance their finances.

This includes crucial players like Joshua Kimmich, Alphonso Davies, and Kingsley Coman. Leon Goretzka, Serge Gnabry, and Matthijs de Ligt are also on the potential sale list.

Kimmich would be a significant acquisition for any Premier League club, with Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City previously linked with the midfielder, who has played at right-back for Germany in Euro 2024.

Alphonso Davies, who has attracted interest from Chelsea, Manchester United, City, and Arsenal, could be available for a relatively low transfer fee given his current contract expires in 2025. Bayern are reportedly unwilling to meet his wage demands.

Manchester United are in negotiations with Bayern over a deal for De Ligt, who has also been linked with Arsenal and Chelsea, worth £42.2m (€50m).

Gnabry has proven himself a valuable winger since leaving Arsenal but only made ten Bundesliga appearances last season due to injury. He has been recently linked with Real Madrid.

Kingsley Coman, who was once on Manchester United’s list of transfer targets, could return to PSG, while Leon Goretzka has been linked with West Ham and Manchester United.
