Huddersfield Giants star linked with Leeds Rhinos move

Sky Sports pundit Jenna Brooks has provided the latest update on the future of Huddersfield Giants star Jake Connor, amid links to Super League rivals Leeds Rhinos.

Huddersfield boss Ian Watson made Connor available for a loan last month, a decision that surprised many in the rugby league community. Connor has experienced fluctuating playtime recently, with Tui Lolohea being preferred at fullback and Olly Russell and Adam Clune occupying the halves.

However, the Huddersfield maverick started at fullback for the Giants against the Warrington Wolves on Friday night, prompting Jenna Brooks to address the speculation regarding his potential departure from the John Smith’s Stadium.

Brooks spoke to a Huddersfield representative, who stated: “Jake Connor has spent time out of the team because of performances this season, and there was interest in him, but we have decided to keep him here.”

Connor remains contracted to Huddersfield until the end of the 2025 Super League season.
