BREAKING: Charlton Athletic player has resigned for the club

Charlton Athletic is thrilled to announce that Karin Muya has signed a new contract, extending her stay with the club until 2025.

Muya joined the Addicks last season, making 17 appearances and scoring three goals. Expressing her excitement for the upcoming season, Muya said, “It feels great and a sigh of relief. I feel excited to get going with preseason and to start working. Last season we were so close, so this season it feels like we can learn some lessons and push on that step further.”

Commenting on playing at The Valley, Muya added, “Having The Valley as our home stadium will be great for us. The playing surface is exceptional. It will definitely be good for us and our style of football.”

Looking ahead to the season, Muya noted the increasing level of competition in the Championship, “Every season the Championship continues to get more and more competitive. With the two new teams coming up, the strength and pace of games will only get better.”
