Packers defensive end Rashan Gary appeared on The Rich Eisen Show to discuss his star quarterback entering the 2024 NFL season. Speaking about quarterback Jordan Love, Gary said:
“People haven’t seen anything yet. The things that he’s been doing in camp that you can’t see, the practice tape that’s not out there. The throws he’s making, how accurately he’s placing them—it’s incredible right now. I’m just excited for the season so he can showcase it. He’s poised for a fantastic season with us.”
We’ll have to wait and see what Jordan Love brings to the Green Bay Packers this season. Last year, he completed 64.2% of his passes for 4,159 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. Additionally, Love rushed for 247 yards on 50 carries, scoring four touchdowns with an average of 4.9 yards per carry.
There’s a strong possibility he could be an MVP contender this season. Love finished second in the league in passing touchdowns last year, trailing only Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys, who threw 36 touchdowns.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see Love among the top five in passing yards this season. Despite lacking a true number-one wide receiver and not having a receiver surpass 1,000 yards last season, Love managed the second-highest touchdown total in the league. There’s optimism that one or two wide receivers could achieve the 1,000-yard mark this year.
