Transfer expert Graeme Bailey has informed HITC Football that Crystal Palace are exploring the possibility of signing Leeds United’s No.29, Wilfried Gnonto, as a replacement for Michael Olise.
The Italy international gained significant recognition in the Premier League during the 2022/23 season, with Gary Neville even likening him to a “Manchester City winger” due to his impactful performances in England.
Despite Gnonto’s efforts, Leeds United suffered relegation that season and failed to secure promotion back to the Premier League last term, indicating a potential departure for the player.
Bailey believes that Daniel Farke’s side will ask for £30m for the Italian, who is under contract at Elland Road until July 2027.
HITC Football also reports that Sunderland’s No.20, Jack Clarke, is another contender to replace Olise.
