Jon served as assistant manager at Horsham last season, marking his second stint with the Hornets. He has also held coaching positions at Worthing, where he was the first team coach, as well as at Eastbourne, Crawley, and Hastings. Additionally, Jon has been involved in coaching young players at Brighton & Hove Albion, where he spent seven years as a player in their Centre of Excellence.
Steve commented on Jon’s arrival at Sutton: “I’m pleased to welcome Jon to our staff at Sutton. He is deeply committed to coaching, demonstrates strong work ethic both on and off the field, and will bring immense value to the football club in the upcoming season. I’ve been aware of his work at other clubs and personally had him in mind if the opportunity arose to collaborate.”
Micky Stephens and Junior Lewis will not be part of Steve’s first-team coaching staff this season. However, Micky will continue his longstanding association with the club, transitioning to work alongside Terry Bullivant in a scouting capacity within the Academy. Junior, who joined us at the beginning of last season, will be departing the club. We extend our gratitude to him for his contributions and wish him the best in his future endeavors.
