JUST IN: New player signs for Tranmere Rovers from MK Dons

Tranmere Rovers have announced the signing of Cameron Norman on a two-year contract following his departure from MK Dons.

Standing at six-foot-two, Norman brings both physical presence and extensive experience to bolster Nigel Adkins’ squad for the upcoming season, having accumulated 285 senior appearances thus far.

The 28-year-old defender featured prominently for MK Dons last season, making 43 appearances as they secured a fourth-place finish in League Two.

Having progressed through Norwich City’s youth system, Norman brings considerable experience at this level, having also played for Newport County and Walsall in League Two before his stint at MK Dons. He has also had spells in League One with Walsall and Oxford United.

Reflecting on his move to Tranmere, Norman commented: “I’m thrilled to have completed the move and am eager to get started. The Club’s ambitions align with mine, and I’m looking forward to the new challenge.”

Manager Nigel Adkins added: “Cameron Norman strengthens our squad and embodies our ambition. He is a consistent and dependable player with a strong desire to improve. We are delighted to have him join us and are excited about working together.”
