Charlton Boss Nathan Jones States How Many Signings He Wants This Summer

Charlton Athletic boss Nathan Jones is aiming to bolster his squad significantly this summer, targeting nine new signings by the end of the transfer window.

The Addicks were impressed with the impact Jones made last season, swiftly dispelling relegation concerns in League One. Now, the club is fully supporting him as he aims to rebuild the team in preparation for a stronger league campaign ahead.

Charlton has already been active in the transfer market, securing signings such as Luke Berry, Josh Edwards, Will Mannion, and Alex Mitchell.

However, Jones is far from finished. He aims to bring in a total of nine new players by the end of the transfer window, which means five more signings are expected to bolster the squad further.

Nathan Jones, the Welsh manager, is ambitious and determined to assemble a squad capable of competing at the upper echelons of the League One table.

However, Charlton may also need to contend with unforeseen departures, potentially increasing the total number of signings required to reinforce the squad.

Huddersfield Town, recently relegated from the Championship, have been pursuing a deal to sign Alfie May from Charlton Athletic. May, who finished as the top scorer in League One last season, is attracting interest as Huddersfield look to bolster their squad for the upcoming season.
