UNC basketball program misses out on top-tier Class of 2025 talent

Regretfully, this elite player has chosen to withdraw from consideration for the UNC basketball programme in his recruitment.

The competition for Isiah Harwell’s services is heating up swiftly. A top 10 recruit in the Class of 2025, Harwell included the UNC basketball programme among his top 9 colleges; however, after reducing his list to four, he removed it.

The 6-foot-5 shooting guard has focused his recruiting efforts on the following four schools: Texas, California, Gonzaga, and Houston. He disclosed the names of his finalists as well as the fact that he would make his commitment public on September 12.

Along with UCLA, Alabama, Idaho State, and Baylor, North Carolina was one of the five colleges that did not make the cut.

Throughout Harwell’s recruitment, the UNC basketball programme had a significant role.

The top-10 player had previously declared North Carolina to be his “dream school.” Nevertheless, Harwell feels it would be better for him to look for chances elsewhere, therefore those dreams have shifted.
