2014 saw Bobby Zamora secure promotion for QPR, an event the club’s supporters will always remember.
Three of Queens Park Rangers’ previous 19 league seasons were played in the Premier League.
The West London team competed in the premier league in 2011–12, 2012–13, and 2014–15 seasons.
There was a lot of player churn at the club because they played in the Premier League three out of four seasons from 2011 to 2015.
When QPR made it to the top division, they were determined to stay there, and when they were relegated in the 2012–13 season, they made even more of an investment.
Bobby Zamora, a striker who was heading towards the conclusion of his career and had been so impressive for Fulham, was one player the team decided to bring in at this period.

Although Zamora began his senior career at Bristol Rovers, it was during his tenure at Brighton that he became well-known in the sport.
He led the Seagulls in goals both in the first and second divisions, and his success there led to an impressive transfer to Tottenham Hotspur.
The forward’s tenure at Spurs wasn’t as fruitful since he had trouble getting consistent playing time, which affected his finishing.
After that, he played for a few seasons for West Ham before moving on to Fulham, where he quickly became a fan and team favourite.
With Fulham, he achieved remarkable success as the team won European football in just two seasons, and he thrived when the team faced formidable opponents.
However, he signed a contract with QPR in 2012, reportedly for £4 million, meaning his stint with the club came to an end.
Zamora and Mark Hughes had previously worked together at Fulham, and the Rs believed that Zamora’s arrival would increase their attacking options.
Supporters of QPR will always remember Bobby Zamora with affection.
Zamora had been a prolific goalscorer for a period of years, having played for Fulham and West Ham.
In an attempt to stay in the Premier League, QPR would have hoped that Zamora’s experience and knack for scoring would come in handy when they made the decision to sign him.
In his first six months at QPR, he played and started 14 league games, making him a regular right away.
Even though the striker only managed two goals, he was crucial to the Rs’s survival in the top division.
The player showed improvement the next season, playing 21 games (16 of which were starts), scoring four goals in the league, and dishing out one assist, according to Fbref.com.
Zamora could not, however, save the London team from having a very bad season—they ended up last in the Premier League.
Many QPR supporters will remember Zamora’s choice to stay at the club, even though he was nearing the end of his career. Relegation caused QPR to lose a few players over the summer.
Just seven of the 17 games the former Fulham forward began during the 2013–14 Championship season saw him play a significant amount of minutes. However, Zamora made his usual contributions in terms of goals and assists.
Zamora contributed three goals and three assists in the Championship, but none of his efforts that year or in his whole tenure at the team were as significant or as good as the goal he scored against Derby County to guarantee QPR’s return to the Premier League.
QPR and Derby played a hard-fought play-off final, with the Rs managing to hold the score at 0-0 until almost the ninetieth minute despite being reduced to ten men.
When it appeared that extra time might be needed, Harry Redknapp made the decision to send Zamora onto the field. The seasoned centre striker scored the game’s final goal to give the West London team promotion.
Fans of QPR will never forget it because it was such a wonderful moment for both the team and Zamora personally.
